Behind the Scenes

From Practice to Podium

Success in karting doesn’t happen by chance. For two brothers competing in the Super One Series, every result on track is built on hours of preparation away from it.

The journey to a strong race weekend begins long before arriving at the circuit. Driver fitness plays a major role, with strength, endurance, and reaction training all forming part of the routine. Karting may look effortless from the outside, but the physical demands are significant, especially across a full race weekend.

Alongside fitness, time is spent analysing performance. Whether reviewing onboard footage or working on simulators, understanding racing lines, braking points, and racecraft is key to improving lap times and consistency.

Preparation also extends to the kart itself. From engine maintenance to chassis setup, ensuring everything is performing at its best is essential. Attention to detail can often be the difference between a good result and a great one.

Once at the track, all of that preparation is put to the test. Practice sessions refine the setup, qualifying demands precision, and races require both speed and smart decision-making. Every lap contributes to the bigger picture.

"Standing on the podium may be the visible reward, but it represents far more than a single race result."

It reflects the dedication, effort, and teamwork that go into every stage of the process. For these brothers, the goal is simple, keep improving, keep pushing, and turn hard work into results.
